Introduction

The Period End procedure is designed to manage movement of current period data into the relevant history tables. This routine is controlled by the Merchandise Calendar, and will only permit the 'roll' of the appropriate Week / Period / Season / Year.

What does it do?

The user has the ability to nominate the Division to be rolled (where more than one Division is used).

Century Reveal will then manage the process according to the Calendar interval.

The procedures for End of Period Roll include the following -

• Performance quantities are set to 0 (zero)
• Division status is set to Rolled
• Performance is consolidated into History
• New Period data can be Posted
• Inventory is consolidated into History
